FAQs

Can I use this bait without a station?

No. It is strongly recommended to use a tamper-resistant bait station to prevent accidental poisoning of pets, wildlife, and children.

Does this kill rats or mice?

It is formulated to control brown rats, black rats, and house mice.

How long does it take to work?

The single-feed formula is designed to be fast-acting, though the exact timeframe for eradication depends on the size of the rodent population.

Should I open the sachet before placing it?

No, keep the sachet sealed. Rodents will easily chew through the packaging to access the bait, and keeping it sealed protects the grain from mould and moisture.

What should I do if a pet accidentally eats the bait?

Contact your veterinarian immediately. Provide them with the active ingredient information (brodifacoum) found on the packaging.

Troubleshooting

Bait is not being consumed

Rodents may be suspicious of new objects; move the bait station to a different location along a wall where activity is more frequent.

Bait is being removed but not eaten

This may be caching behavior. Ensure the bait station is secure, and consider using a smaller opening to prevent the rodents from dragging the sachets away.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely effective single-feed action
Pre-sealed sachets make handling clean and safe
Highly palatable formula prevents bait shyness
Contains bittering agents to help deter non-target species

Cons

Requires the purchase of separate bait stations
Potential toxicity risk to pets and non-target wildlife
Not suitable for outdoor areas exposed to heavy rain without cover

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the effectiveness and safety of the Nope! bait, follow these requirements:

Use Bait Stations: Always secure the sachets inside a dedicated, tamper-resistant rodent bait station. This prevents pets and children from accessing the poison.
Identify Travel Paths: Inspect your property for signs of activity, such as gnaw marks, droppings, or oily rub marks, before placing the stations.
Monitoring: Check stations every few days during the initial phase of an infestation. Replace any consumed bait sachets until consumption ceases, which indicates the population has been controlled.
Storage: Keep the product in its original, sealed container in a cool, dry place out of reach of children and pets. Do not store near food products.
