Troubleshooting

Camera is not connecting to Wi-Fi

Ensure your router is within range and verify that your Wi-Fi password is correct during the app setup process.

Floodlights are not turning on with motion

Check the motion sensitivity settings in the Ring app and ensure the floodlights are not disabled in the device dashboard.

Video feed is lagging

Verify your upload internet speed, as high-resolution 2K streaming requires a stable connection with sufficient bandwidth.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation requires basic knowledge of electrical work, as the camera must be hardwired into an existing outdoor electrical junction box. Always turn off the power at the circuit breaker before attempting to install or touch the wiring. Once installed, download the Ring app and follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your local Wi-Fi network. For maintenance, keep the camera lens clean with a microfiber cloth and ensure the floodlight housing is free of debris. Since the device is weather-resistant, it does not require additional covers, but periodic checks of the mounting brackets are recommended to ensure they remain tight and secure against the wall.
