Product Information

Full details

The Leitz IQ Autofeed Polybags are designed specifically for owners of Leitz IQ Autofeed Office Pro 600 shredders who want to maintain a clean, efficient, and hygienic workspace. These heavy-duty 175-litre capacity bags simplify the disposal of large volumes of shredded paper by allowing for quick, mess-free removal from the shredder bin. While these bags are highly durable and convenient, they are optimized for a specific bin size, meaning they may not be suitable for use with standard office waste bins or shredders from other brands.

FAQs

How many bags come in one pack?

Each pack contains 20 individual polybags.

Are these bags recyclable?

The bags are made of polypropylene, which is widely recyclable; however, you should check with your local waste management facility regarding their policy for plastic bin liners.

Can I use these for other brands of shredders?

These are specifically designed for the dimensions of the Leitz IQ Autofeed Office Pro 600 and may not fit other models properly.

Are the bags transparent?

Yes, they feature a transparent finish to allow for easy monitoring of waste levels.

What is the volume capacity of each bag?

Each bag has a capacity of 175 litres.

Troubleshooting

Bag tearing while being removed

Ensure the bag is not overfilled beyond the capacity indicator of the shredder, as excessive weight can strain the material.

Bag slipping into the bin during use

Make sure you leave enough slack at the top to fold the bag edges securely over the bin rim.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Perfect fit for Leitz IQ Autofeed Office Pro 600 shredders
  • Large 175-litre volume reduces the frequency of bin emptying
  • Durable polypropylene material prevents leaks and tears
  • Easy-access dispenser box keeps workspace organized
  • Transparent material makes it easy to monitor fill levels

Cons

  • Specifically designed for one model series
  • Not intended for use as general-purpose trash bags
  • Must be purchased as a dedicated accessory for the shredder

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation is straightforward: open the shredder bin, expand the polybag, and place it inside so that the bottom sits flat against the base of the bin. Secure the top edges around the rim to prevent the bag from collapsing under the weight of the paper.

Compatibility: These bags are exclusively compatible with the Leitz IQ Autofeed Office Pro 600 models. Attempting to use them with significantly smaller bins may result in excess material that interferes with the shredder mechanism.

Care: Store the unused bags in the original dispenser box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Polypropylene is robust but should be kept away from sharp objects to prevent punctures before the bag is even placed in the shredder.
