FAQs
Are the armrests adjustable?
No, the armrests are fixed and cannot be adjusted for height, width, or angle.
What is the maximum weight capacity?
The chair is designed for standard office use; please refer to the manufacturer's manual included in the packaging for specific weight limit details.
Can I replace the casters?
Yes, the chair uses standard-sized casters that can be replaced if they show signs of wear or damage.
Is the chair suitable for hardwood floors?
The included casters are safe for most surfaces, but for optimal protection on hardwood, we recommend using a plastic floor mat.
How do I lock the seat in place?
Use the single lever located on the side of the seat. Pull it out or push it in to unlock the recline, and ensure it is in the locked position to fix your chosen angle.
Troubleshooting
The chair does not stay at the selected height
Verify that the base of the gas lift is fully inserted into the 5-star base and check if the lever is fully engaged.
The chair feels unstable or wobbly
Re-tighten all bolts on the seat and backrest mechanism to ensure every connection point is secure.
Tilt tension feels too loose or too stiff
Adjust the tension knob located under the front of the seat; rotate clockwise to increase resistance and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly of the Dura Task Operator Chair is straightforward, utilizing a standard bolt-on configuration for the base and backrest. The chair is compatible with most standard desk heights due to its adjustable chrome gas lift. For maintenance, clean the air-mesh seat periodically with a vacuum attachment to remove dust and debris. Wipe the nylon backrest and the white frame with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or harsh chemicals, as these may discolor or damage the matte white finish of the nylon and chrome components.
