Setup:
This planter requires assembly. Ensure all parts are present before beginning. Follow the included instructions carefully to connect the planter box and the trellis securely. Recommended tools may include a screwdriver and possibly a mallet.
Compatibility:
Suitable for most common potting soils and plant types that benefit from vertical support, including climbing flowers (e.g., morning glories, sweet peas), vegetables (e.g., beans, cucumbers), and small vines. Ensure the soil chosen is appropriate for your selected plants.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the wooden surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Maintenance: To prolong the life of the wood, consider applying a protective sealant or wood stain annually, especially after the rainy season. Ensure the planter is not constantly exposed to excessive moisture.
- Drainage: Regularly check the leakage holes to ensure they are clear of soil and debris to maintain proper drainage.
