Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Before application, ensure the masonry surface is clean, dry, and free from loose render, dust, and efflorescence. Any existing paint should be sound; unstable coatings must be removed. Prime bare or porous surfaces with a suitable masonry primer.
Compatibility: This paint is designed for masonry surfaces. It is generally compatible with most sound, previously painted or rendered exterior walls. Test compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area if applying over unknown existing coatings.
Application: Apply using a high-quality masonry brush or a suitable roller. For best results, apply in dry conditions with temperatures between 10°C and 25°C. Avoid applying in direct sunlight, rain, or strong winds. Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use. Apply evenly, ensuring consistent coverage. Two coats are often recommended for optimal performance and finish.
Care: Clean tools and spills immediately after use with water. Once dry, the paint finish is durable. For cleaning the painted surface, a soft brush or damp cloth can be used gently. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
