Refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your engine. The correct gap size is typically found in the service manual.
Store the blades folded into their case in a dry environment to prevent rust and damage.
While the set is versatile, it's essential to check the engine's specifications to ensure compatibility with the blade sizes.
Wipe the blades with a clean, soft cloth after each use to remove any dirt or oil. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
The angled blades provide better access to engine components, particularly in tight spaces.
The blades are made from hardened and polished steel for durability and accuracy.
Ensure you are using the correct blade size for your engine and that the engine is at the correct temperature (as specified in your engine's manual).
Tighten the tappet adjustment until the blade slides with slight resistance.
This tool is designed for setting valve tappets on various vehicles, including motorcycles, mowers, cars, and vans. Ensure you have the engine's specifications for the vehicle you are working on.
