Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Place the toaster on a flat, heat-resistant surface, ensuring at least 10 centimeters of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation. Before its first use, operate the toaster on the highest heat setting without any bread inside to burn off any manufacturing residues.
Compatibility: The wide-slot design is compatible with most standard loaves, artisan breads, and crumpets. Avoid forcing overly thick items that do not slide easily into the slot to prevent damage to the heating elements.
Care and Maintenance:
- Always unplug the device and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp, soft cloth followed by a dry cloth to maintain the copper finish.
- Slide out the crumb tray weekly to empty it.
- Never use metal utensils or abrasive scouring pads inside the slots, as this will damage the heating filaments.
