Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure your tubing is clean and free of debris. Slide the pipe firmly over the appropriate end of the reducer; using a small amount of water-based lubricant can assist in sliding the pipe over the barbs if the fit is particularly snug. Regarding compatibility, these units are intended for use with flexible plastic or rubber hosing commonly used in fluid transfer. For maintenance, periodically inspect the connections for signs of weeping or leakage. If you need to remove the tubing, do not pull sharply; instead, gently twist the pipe while applying steady outward pressure to protect both the tubing and the connector from damage.
