This Finerfilters 10 Litre Pressurised Reverse Osmosis Water Storage Tank is designed for use with Reverse Osmosis systems, offering a 10-litre holding capacity. It features a rubber bladder, maintained at approximately 10PSI, which allows for water to be drawn. Water is stored within this bladder, constructed from butyl, a material known for its inert properties and long-standing use in RO and well tanks. When water is needed, the air pressure within the tank expels it from the bladder. An auto shut-off valve on the RO system detects when the tank is depleted and initiates refilling. The drinking water only comes into contact with the butyl bladder, except for the spout, which is typically food-grade polypropylene on modern tanks. The tank weighs 2600g/2.6kg. Please note that all tanks are sold without a tank valve. If you are replacing an existing tank, your old valve may be compatible. For a new valve, please contact us before ordering.
