Celox Gauze features highly effective Celox granules bonded onto a stable gauze that resists compaction under pressure. This unique, patented, and natural formula works independently of the body's normal clotting mechanisms to clot blood, even in cases where clotting is slow or impaired. Made with chitosan, Celox is broken down by lysozyme, a human enzyme, leaving glucosamine, a sugar naturally found in the body. It is suitable for severe high-pressure bleeding, arterial and venous bleeding, bullet, blast, knife, and shrapnel wounds, wound packing, and application to all bleeding wounds, even under strong blood flows. Dimensions: 7.6cm x 3m. Sterile. Celox Gauze is designed to stop bleeding from arterial injuries, road traffic accidents, and other life-threatening injuries, significantly reducing blood loss and stopping severe traumatic bleeding. It works independently of the body's clotting mechanism and stops hypothermic bleeding, increasing survival chances. Celox gauze demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in survival, most evidently in the more severely injured. To be used by trained emergency responders in the pre-hospital setting for temporary treatment of emergency life-threatening bleeding. Patient Target Group: Adults and children, excluding neonates and infants.
