It is most effective with Chopped Strand Mat (CSM). While it can be used with other mat types, its ribbed design is optimized for CSM consolidation.

It is crucial to clean the roller immediately after each use to prevent resin from hardening, which can damage the roller and reduce its effectiveness.

Suitable cleaning solvents include acetone or styrene. Always follow the safety guidelines and ensure good ventilation when using these chemicals.

While primarily designed for polyester and vinyl ester resins used in GRP, it can generally be used with epoxy resins, provided proper cleaning procedures are followed for epoxy compatibility.
