Specifically designed to attach wood to metal (Max. 4.0mm). Features a coarse self-tapping thread with wings that ream out timber for optimal RPM without burning. The wings break off upon hitting metal, allowing the thread to self-tap. Compatible with all leading power tool brands, these screws have self-countersinking ribs, a coarse 60 self-tapping thread for excellent holding power and rapid insertion, and are case & core hardened for durability and strength. Specifications include: Thread Dia. 4.8mm, Length 65mm, Countersunk Head with Ribs, Phillips Recess, Winged Self-Drilling Point, and Zinc Finish. They are suitable for timber and steel substrates with a maximum drilling thickness of 4.0mm. Each box contains 500 pieces.
