This guide is for owners of small animals, specifically rabbits and guinea pigs, who want to maintain their pets' nail health. The AB Tools Small Animal Nail Trimmers provide a safe and effective way to trim nails, preventing overgrowth and related discomfort. A caveat is that you should always be careful during use to avoid injury to the animal.

Generally, once a month is sufficient, but this may vary depending on the animal's lifestyle and nail growth.
If you accidentally cut the quick, it will bleed. Apply styptic powder or cornstarch to stop the bleeding and consult with a vet.
Wipe the blades with a clean, dry cloth after each use.
No, they are specifically designed for rabbits and guinea pigs.
Avoid cutting the pink part of the nail, which is called the quick. Cut just before this point.
Stop immediately and try again when the animal is calmer.
No, these trimmers are not designed for cats or dogs.
The trimmers are approximately 14 cm in length.
The blades may need to be sharpened or the trimmers should be replaced.
Take breaks, reward the animal, and consider trimming nails more frequently to make the process easier.
These trimmers do not require any setup; they are ready to use out of the package. Ensure the trimmers are clean before each use. After use, wipe the blades with a clean, dry cloth to remove any debris. Store in a safe, dry place away from children and pets. Compatibility is limited to rabbits and guinea pigs, and it is recommended to replace the trimmers if the blades become dull.
