Product Information

Full details

The Hootyballoo Wooden Jigsaw Guest Book is designed for couples looking for an interactive, memorable alternative to traditional wedding guest books. Its primary benefit is transforming guest signatures and well-wishes into a permanent, custom-made piece of wall art featuring a central photograph of the big day. Note that because the pieces are wooden, you must use a specific type of pen to ensure the ink does not bleed, and you will need to purchase a separate frame if you intend to hang it on your wall.

Troubleshooting

Ink smearing on pieces

Ensure you are using a standard biro-style pen and allow the ink to dry completely before touching the pieces.

Pieces not fitting together perfectly

Check that each piece is oriented correctly; wood can occasionally expand slightly with humidity, so ensure they are laid out in a temperature-controlled environment.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To prepare for your event, ensure you provide guests with biro-style pens, as felt-tips or markers may bleed into the wooden grain. The puzzle measures 48 x 39 cm; if you wish to display it behind glass, look for a 50 x 70 cm outer frame with a custom mount to hold the jigsaw securely in place. To clean the wooden pieces, use only a soft, dry cloth; do not use water or liquid cleaning agents as these may warp the wood or smudge the ink. When storing, keep the pieces in the original display box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the wood from fading or bowing over time.
