Product Information

Full details

The DEENZ Arched Top Soho Window Style Wall Mounted Mirror is designed for homeowners and interior design enthusiasts looking to add architectural character and the illusion of depth to their living spaces. Its primary benefit is the combination of a rustic, shabby-chic aesthetic with a versatile Gothic window design that enhances both indoor and outdoor settings. One caveat to consider is that the distressed finish is intentionally applied to look aged, so it may not suit minimalist or ultra-modern spaces that require a pristine, uniform appearance.

FAQs

Can this mirror be used outdoors?

Yes, it is suitable for garden use, provided it is mounted in a covered area to protect the finish from prolonged exposure to harsh weather.

What are the exact dimensions?

The mirror measures 50.5 cm in width and 71 cm in height.

Does it come with mounting hardware?

Mounting hardware is typically not included as it depends on your specific wall surface (e.g., brick vs. plaster); please purchase appropriate screws and anchors for your wall type.

Is the finish supposed to look worn?

Yes, the blue finish is intentionally distressed to provide a rustic, aged aesthetic.

Is the lattice part of the mirror or a separate frame?

The lattice is an integrated architectural frame design layered over the reflective glass surface.

Troubleshooting

Mirror appears slightly crooked after installation

Use a spirit level to verify alignment and adjust the wall fixings slightly if using a wire or adjustable hanging mechanism.

Dust collecting in the lattice detailing

Use a soft-bristled brush or a compressed air canister to gently dislodge dust from the intricate window frame corners.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Adds instant architectural character to any wall
Versatile design pairs well with both traditional and contemporary decor
Distressed finish provides a high-quality, authentic vintage look
Effective at brightening dark or cramped rooms

Cons

Not suitable for minimalist or sleek modern interior styles
Specific distressed finish may vary between pieces due to the handcrafted nature
Requires secure mounting due to the substantial size

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation requires standard heavy-duty wall fixings suitable for your specific wall type (e.g., masonry or drywall anchors). Always use a spirit level to ensure the arched top is perfectly aligned. For care, avoid using harsh chemical cleaners which could damage the distressed blue finish. Instead, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust from the lattice detail, and a standard glass cleaner on the mirror panes themselves, ensuring you spray the cloth first rather than the glass to prevent liquid from seeping into the frame joints.
