Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unpack the tent and identify all components: tent body, fiberglass poles, stakes, and guy lines.
- Lay out the tent body on a flat, clear surface. Insert the fiberglass poles into the designated sleeves or attach them to the frame.
- Use the pin-and-ring system to secure the poles to the tent corners.
- Stake down the tent securely using the provided stakes, ensuring all corners and tie-out points are anchored.
- Attach and tension the guy lines for added stability, especially in windy conditions.
Compatibility:
This tent is designed for general camping and is compatible with standard camping equipment. It features an E-Port for electrical cord access, making it compatible with campsite power hookups. It is suitable for use with sleeping bags and mats designed for up to 5 persons.
Care:
- Cleaning: After use, clean the tent with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the tent is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew.
- Storage: Store the tent in the provided carry bag in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or in areas with extreme temperatures.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the poles, zippers, and seams for any signs of wear or damage. Repair any small tears promptly with a tent repair kit.
- Weather Limitations: Remember to pack up the tent if severe weather conditions (strong winds, heavy snow) are forecast, as the fabric and structure are not designed for extreme elements.
