FAQs
Does the dustpan stand up on its own?
Yes, the set is designed to be free-standing for easy storage in narrow spaces.
Can I use this set on carpet?
This set is specifically designed for hard floors and surfaces; it is not recommended for use on carpeted areas.
How do I remove hair from the broom bristles?
Simply pull the broom head through the integrated comb teeth on the dustpan to dislodge trapped hair.
Is the handle adjustable?
No, the handle comes at a fixed ergonomic height designed for comfortable upright sweeping.
What is the material of the bristles?
The broom features synthetic, feathered bristles designed for high-density capture of fine dust particles.
How do I clean the dustpan?
You can rinse the dustpan under running water with a mild detergent and let it air dry completely before reassembling.
Troubleshooting
The dustpan does not close fully.
Check the hinge area for debris or hair build-up and clear the trigger mechanism.
Dust is left behind on the floor.
Ensure the flexible edge is pressed firmly against the floor while sweeping; check that the edge is clean of caked-on dirt.
Broom bristles are flattened.
Store the broom clipped into the dustpan to prevent the bristles from resting under weight or at an awkward angle.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Hygienic hands-free cleaning thanks to the bristle comb
- Space-saving design allows for easy vertical storage
- Securely traps debris to prevent spills during transport
- Flexible edge catches fine dust that traditional pans miss
Cons
- Lightweight construction may feel flimsy to some users
- Not intended for heavy-duty industrial or construction cleanup
- Trigger mechanism requires occasional cleaning to stay responsive
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup requires no tools; simply snap the handle components together until they click into place. To maintain the effectiveness of the flexible edge, store the dustpan on a flat surface to prevent warping. For cleaning, rinse the dustpan with warm soapy water and air dry. Check the bristle comb periodically for tangled hair that might obstruct the trigger mechanism. Ensure the set is stored in a cool, dry place to maintain the structural integrity of the plastic components.
