Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your system is powered off and disconnected from the power source.
- Open your computer case or laptop to access the drive bay.
- Securely install the 2.5" SSD into an available drive bay or caddy.
- Connect the SATA data cable and SATA power cable from your motherboard and power supply to the SSD.
- Close your system, reconnect power, and power on your computer.
- Initialize and format the SSD within your operating system if it's a new drive.
Compatibility:
This SSD is compatible with most desktops and laptops that feature a 2.5" drive bay and a SATA III interface. It is supported by Windows and Linux operating systems.
Care:
- Avoid exposing the SSD to extreme temperatures, especially during operation (0-70°C). Storage temperatures can range from -40-85°C.
- Protect the drive from physical shock (up to 1500 G).
- Ensure adequate airflow within your system to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
- Regularly back up important data. While SSDs are reliable, data loss can occur in rare circumstances.
