The Makita DML805 is a versatile LED work light that can be powered by 110v mains or 14.4V and 18V...The Makita DML805 is a versatile LED work light that can be powered by 110v mains or 14.4V and 18V Makita Li-ion batteries. It features twenty 0.5-watt LEDs that provide bright, even illumination with two settings: high and low. The light unit is housed in a durable carry cradle with a flat base and top handle, which can also be used as a hanging bar. The angle of the light can be easily adjusted through 360 degrees. Designed for demanding site conditions, this work-light incorporates Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for enhanced resistance to dust and water. It also comes with three standard tripod mounting options. When powered by a 4.0Ah 18v Makita Li-ion battery, the DML805 offers a continuous run time of 6.5 hours on the high setting. This package also includes a tripod suitable for one or two work lights, equipped with a 1/4" thread. The DML805 delivers 750 lumens on High mode and 450 lumens on Low mode, with run times of up to 8.5 hours on High (with a 5.0Ah 18V LXT battery) or up to 17 hours on Low. The XPT technology ensures improved dust and water resistance for harsh environments. The L.E.D. lights illuminate the workspace efficiently without the heat generated by halogens. Adjusting knobs allow users to direct the floodlight as needed. Users can choose between battery or corded operation, and it is compatible with 18V LXT batteries. Backup power from an 18V LXT battery ensures the light remains on if AC power is interrupted. The AC cord stores neatly around the mounting stand base. An integrated handle serves as a convenient hanging hook. The light will flash to alert the user of a low battery charge. It has a compact design, measuring only 8-3/8" long, and weighs just 5.7 lbs with a battery.
