Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup for Jump-Starting:
- Ensure the jump starter is sufficiently charged.
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery.
- Connect the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the dead battery or a suitable chassis ground point away from the battery.
- Attempt to start the vehicle. Once the engine starts, immediately disconnect the clamps in the reverse order (black first, then red).
Compatibility:
This jump starter is compatible with 12V gasoline vehicles up to 8.0L and diesel vehicles up to 6.0L. It is suitable for cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and tractors.
Care and Maintenance:
- Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Recharge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain optimal battery health, even if not used.
- Keep the clamps and cables clean and free from corrosion.
- Avoid submerging the unit in water or exposing it to excessive moisture.
