FAQs
Can I use these slices outdoors?
Yes, they are suitable for outdoor use, but be aware that extreme humidity or rain may cause natural materials to swell or change shape over extended periods.
Are these slices treated with chemicals?
These are kiln-dried wood products. Kiln drying is a heat-based process used to remove moisture and pests, not a chemical treatment.
Why does my slice have a hole in the center?
Small natural holes are characteristic of authentic wood slices and are considered a normal part of the aesthetic, not a manufacturing defect.
Will these fit under a 30cm martini vase?
Yes, as the diameter ranges from 28cm to 32cm, most 30cm vases will fit well on these slices, though placement may need to be adjusted based on the specific shape of the wood slice.
Can I paint or varnish these?
Yes, you can apply wood stains or varnish if you wish to alter the color or add a protective seal to the wood surface.
Troubleshooting
The surface feels dusty or flaky upon arrival
Gently wipe the surface with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any loose bark or wood fibers resulting from transport.
The slice does not sit perfectly level
Because these are natural pieces, slight rocking may occur; use a small felt furniture pad on the bottom to stabilize the slice on hard surfaces.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare your wood slices for an event, ensure the surface they are placed upon is flat and level. These slices are compatible with most standard table runners and tablecloths.
Care Instructions:
- Keep the wood in a dry, cool environment before use to prevent moisture absorption.
- Wipe down with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust; avoid using harsh chemicals or liquid cleaners that could saturate the wood.
- Since these are natural products, store them flat to maintain their shape over time.
