Ensure the collet size matches the inner diameter precisely and tighten the expansion handle further until secure.
Verify that the collet is fully expanded and locked against the bearing race, then increase the speed and force of the sliding motion.
Before beginning, ensure the chosen collet matches the internal diameter of the bearing exactly to prevent slipping. Always apply a light coat of machine oil to the threads of the collet assembly to keep operation smooth and prevent seizing. After use, clean the collets of any metal debris or grease before returning them to their dedicated spots in the blow-molded case. Store the kit in a dry environment to prevent rust on the precision-machined steel components.
