FAQs

What is the MAG-LOK™ system?

The MAG-LOK™ system uses ultra-strong neodymium magnets to securely attach the bag to compatible PowaKaddy electric trolleys without the need for a lower strap, ensuring stability and quick attachment.

Do I need a specific PowaKaddy trolley for the MAG-LOK™ system?

Yes, the MAG-LOK™ system is designed to work with PowaKaddy trolleys that feature this specific attachment technology (typically 2025 models and newer). It comes with a pre-installed MAG-LOK™ on the bag.

What if my trolley doesn't have MAG-LOK™?

The bag includes the KEY-LOCK™ anti-twist system on its base. This feature prevents lateral twisting and ensures stability when the bag is attached to standard golf carts or trolleys that do not have the MAG-LOK™ system.

How many pockets does the bag have?

The PowaKaddy Edge Golf Cart Bag features a total of 10 storage pockets, including specialized ones for valuables, apparel, drinks, and accessories.

How do I clean the bag?

Clean the bag by wiping it with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to preserve the premium vinyl and PU construction.

Does the bag come with a rain hood?

Yes, the bag includes a quick-fixing matching rain hood that is easy to attach to protect your clubs and gear during wet weather.

What are the dimensions of the bag?

Specific dimensions are not provided, but the bag is designed to fit standard golf trolleys and accommodate a full set of clubs.

Troubleshooting

Bag does not attach securely to trolley.

Ensure you are using a compatible PowaKaddy trolley with the MAG-LOK™ system. For non-compatible trolleys, check that the KEY-LOCK™ system on the base is properly aligned and engaged. Clean any debris from the magnetic contact points on both the bag and the trolley.

Clubs are difficult to remove or replace.

Confirm that clubs are placed within their designated full-length dividers. Ensure the putter is in the external putter pit if it has an oversized grip. Check for any obstructions within the dividers.

Water-resistant pocket is not keeping items dry.

The pocket is designed for water resistance, not full waterproofing. Ensure the zipper is fully closed. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion. For critical items, consider an additional waterproof pouch.

Bag feels heavy or cumbersome to lift.

While constructed with lightweight materials, the bag is designed for maximum storage. Utilize the integrated carry handles effectively. Ensure only necessary items are being carried to manage weight.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. MAG-LOK™ Installation (for compatible trolleys): Your 2025 PowaKaddy Cart Bag comes with a pre-installed MAG-LOK™ system. To attach to a compatible PowaKaddy trolley, simply align the bag with the trolley's magnetic points and it will securely fasten. No further installation is typically required for the bag itself.
  2. KEY-LOCK™ System (for non-compatible trolleys): If using on a trolley without the MAG-LOK™ system, ensure the KEY-LOCK™ anti-twist feature on the base is properly engaged with the trolley's base to prevent lateral movement.
  3. Strap Removal: The quick-release strap can be easily removed when the bag is securely attached to a trolley.

Compatibility:

  • Primary Compatibility: Designed to integrate seamlessly with PowaKaddy electric trolleys featuring the MAG-LOK™ attachment system.
  • Secondary Compatibility: The KEY-LOCK™ system provides stability on any standard golf cart or trolley that accommodates cart bags.

Care:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the bag with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grime. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the materials.
  • Storage: Store the bag in a dry place when not in use. Use the matching rain hood to protect it from the elements during play.
  • Zippers & Pockets: Keep zippers clean and lubricated if necessary. Ensure pockets are emptied and dried if they become wet to prevent mold or mildew.
