The Timloc Push-In Soffit Vent is a practical ventilation solution designed for homeowners and contractors seeking to prevent condensation within roof voids. Its primary benefit is the tool-free, push-fit installation that makes retrofitting or new build finishing efficient and secure. While these vents provide essential airflow, users must ensure they calculate the correct number of units required to meet local building regulations regarding total ventilation area.

These are primarily designed for standard timber or composite soffit boards capable of supporting the push-fit mechanism.
The number of vents depends on your specific building regulations regarding the required equivalent ventilation area (EVA) for your roof size.
No, they are designed to be a friction-fit product, but silicone can be used if the hole is slightly oversized.
Yes, they are constructed from durable materials designed to withstand outdoor exposure, including UV rays, without degrading.
While the brown finish is intended to be a final aesthetic, they can be painted with suitable exterior plastic paint if required.
Verify that the hole is exactly 70mm; if the hole was cut too large, use a small amount of exterior-grade silicone sealant to secure the perimeter.
Check the edges of the drilled hole for rough timber burs or obstructions; sand the edges smooth before attempting to re-insert the vent.
Installation involves three straightforward steps: first, measure and mark the desired locations along the soffit board; second, use a 70mm hole saw to drill or cut the openings; third, press the vent firmly into the hole until the flange sits flush against the board surface. These vents are compatible with most standard timber and composite soffit materials. For care, it is recommended to inspect the vents annually to ensure they are free from debris, such as leaves or insect nests, which could obstruct the airflow path and reduce their overall effectiveness.
