Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install these filters, first ensure the cooker hood is powered off and the metal grease filters have been removed to expose the motor housing. Align the carbon filter with the mounting points on the motor—typically secured by a twist-lock or clip mechanism—and turn until locked firmly in place. Always consult your specific Gorenje user manual for precise locking instructions. Regarding care, these filters are strictly non-washable; attempting to wash them will compromise the internal carbon structure and render the filter ineffective. Plan to replace these filters every 3 to 6 months depending on usage frequency to maintain optimal air quality.
