Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: Upon receiving the bike, ensure all components are securely fastened. It is highly recommended to have the bike assembled and inspected by a qualified bicycle mechanic to ensure proper fit and safety. The battery should be fully charged before the first ride using the appropriate Bosch charger.
Compatibility: The bike is compatible with standard e-bike charging systems and accessories. The eBike Flow app is available for both iOS and Android devices. For battery upgrades, ensure compatibility with Bosch's extended range PowerTube batteries or the PowerMore booster.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Clean the frame and components with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washers, especially around bearings and electrical components.
- Battery: Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Regularly check the battery contacts for dirt or corrosion.
- Drivetrain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated. Periodically check for wear on the cassette and chainrings.
- Brakes: Inspect brake pads and rotors for wear. Ensure hydraulic brake lines are free of leaks.
- Suspension: Follow manufacturer guidelines for suspension fork and rear shock service. This typically involves cleaning stanchions and periodic lower leg lubrication.
- Tires: Maintain proper tire pressure for optimal performance and to prevent flats.
