Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility:
This towel rail is designed to integrate seamlessly with:
- Central Heating Systems: Requires connection to your existing boiler and pipework. Radiator valves (angled or straight, depending on pipe orientation) are necessary and must be purchased separately.
- Dual-Fuel Systems: Can be adapted for use with an electric heating element alongside the central heating connection. An electric element and compatible valves are required.
- Electric-Only Installation: Can be configured for electric-only use by installing a compatible electric heating element (sold separately). This allows operation independently of any central heating system.
Setup:
- Mounting: Secure the provided wall brackets to the wall at the desired height, ensuring they are level and appropriate fixings are used for your wall type.
- Connection: Attach the towel rail to the brackets. Connect the pipework for central heating systems or install the electric heating element as per the manufacturer's instructions for electric/dual-fuel setups.
- Bleeding: Once connected, use the supplied air vent plug to bleed any trapped air from the system to ensure optimal heat circulation.
- Testing: Check for leaks and ensure the rail heats up evenly.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the towel rail with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the black finish.
- Maintenance: Periodically check wall fixings for security. For central heating systems, ensure the system pressure is maintained and bleed radiators if necessary.
