Full details

The Avant Skincare Ceramides Soothing & Protective Day Cream SPF 20 is designed for adults with dry, mature, or overworked skin seeking a daily moisturizer that provides both environmental defense and hydration. FAQs

Can I use this cream at night?

While it can be used at night, it is specifically formulated with SPF 20 for daytime use; you may prefer a non-SPF night cream for evening recovery.

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, the inclusion of ceramides and lecithin is intended to soothe and repair, but as with all skincare, a patch test is recommended.

Does this leave a white cast?

No, the formula is designed to be featherweight and non-greasy, leaving no visible trace or white cast upon absorption.

How often should I reapply?

For consistent sun protection, you should reapply SPF products every two hours if you are spending significant time outdoors.

Is this product vegan or cruelty-free?

Please refer to the specific packaging batch or the brand's official website for the most current certification details.

Troubleshooting

Pilling under makeup

Ensure the previous serum has fully absorbed into the skin before applying the moisturizer and allow the cream to set for 2-3 minutes before applying foundation.

Skin feels tacky after application

Reduce the amount of product used; a small, pea-sized amount is often sufficient for the entire face and neck area.

Requires daily consistent application for best results

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To integrate this cream into your regimen, apply it every morning after cleansing and toning. It is compatible with most standard serums but should be applied after water-based treatments to ensure the protective layer forms correctly. Store the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the SPF ingredients. Always ensure the lid is tightly closed after use to prevent the cream from drying out or losing its efficacy.
