This rug features a 600 denier ripstop, waterproof breathable outer with no polyfill and a breathable lining. It includes two quick clip chest straps, a front shoulder gusset, cross-over surcingles, leg straps, no back seam, a tailguard, and strengthened surcingle guides. Ensure trigger clips on the chest front face inwards on the horse to prevent snagging. This lightweight 'Torrent' outdoor rug can be layered over heavier winter rugs for added insulation and protection from mud and wet conditions. All outdoor rug materials are certified waterproof. Realistic expectations should be set for lightweight turnout rugs as autumn/winter approaches. Strong winds may cause rain to blow under the rug due to its lightweight nature, and heavy rain may also penetrate slightly at the neck if left in very wet conditions. Features include taped seams, ripstop, waxed stitching, breathable waterproof 600 Denier outer material, and no polyfill.
