Saxton Blades TCT Circular Saw Blade - 160mm x 80 Teeth x 20mm Bore
Professional quality hardened and tempered tungsten carbide tipped circular saw blade. This blade ...Professional quality hardened and tempered tungsten carbide tipped circular saw blade. This blade is ideal for cross-cutting softwood, hardwood, plywood, chipboard, multi-board panels, MDF, plated & counter-plated panels, laminated & Bi-laminate plastic, and Fibre-reinforced plastic, providing a quality finished edge. The blades also can cut along the grain. It features a fully hardened steel blade body for accuracy and resistance to bending and deflection for true cuts, and tungsten carbide teeth for excellent wear and heat resistance. The positive cutting angle ensures fast and efficient removal of chips and swarf. The blade incorporates an ATB (Alternating Top Bevel) offset tooth design where the angle of the tooth scores the surface of the wood in advance of the cut, cleanly cutting the wood fibres before the following teeth remove the chip, resulting in a much smoother cut with less chance of splintering the surface of the wood. It is compatible with Festool, Dewalt, Bosch, Makita, Ryobi and other circular saws that use a 160mm blade with a 20mm or 16mm bore. A 16mm reduction ring is included.
This guide is for anyone using the Saxton Blades TCT Circular Saw Blade. It's designed for smooth, precise cuts in various wood materials, offering a professional finish. Keep in mind that blade performance depends on proper saw setup and material selection.

Check the blade for damage. Ensure the blade is installed correctly, with the teeth pointing in the proper direction. Adjust your saw's cutting speed and consider using a push stick for safety.
Blade binds or stalls during cutting.
Check if the blade is compatible with the material. Make sure the saw is properly aligned and the blade is sharp. Reduce the feed rate, and consider using a different blade.
Requires proper setup and saw alignment for optimal results.
Blade performance can vary based on the wood type and thickness.
