FAQs

What is the best way to apply Bolt Balm?

Apply directly from the stick or with a brush/sponge and blend gently. For best results, use your fingers to warm the product.

Can I use Bolt Balm without Truth Tint?

Yes, but it is designed to work in conjunction with Truth Tint for optimal results. You can use it as a targeted concealer.

How do I choose the right shade?

Consider your skin tone and undertone (warm, cool, or neutral). If unsure, test a few shades on your jawline to see which one blends seamlessly.

How long does Bolt Balm last?

The wear time varies, but it can last all day with proper application and setting.

How do I clean my application tools?

Clean brushes and sponges regularly with a brush cleaner or mild soap and water. Allow them to dry completely before reuse.

Is Bolt Balm suitable for sensitive skin?

The formula is designed to be gentle, but it's always best to test a small area first to check for any reaction, especially if you have sensitive skin.

What is the best way to remove Bolt Balm?

Use a makeup remover or cleansing oil to effectively remove the concealer.

Can Bolt Balm be used on the body?

Bolt Balm is primarily designed for use on the face. While it can be used on other areas, it's best for targeted areas.

Troubleshooting

Concealer appears cakey.

Apply less product and blend thoroughly. Ensure your skin is well-moisturized before application.

Concealer doesn't match skin tone.

Experiment with different shades to find the best match for your skin. Consider your undertone (warm, cool, neutral) when selecting a shade.

Concealer creases throughout the day.

Set with a light dusting of setting powder to prevent creasing and increase wear time.
