Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the KCT Jerry Can, ensure the locking cap is fully seated on the neck before transport. When you need to dispense fuel, remove the locking cap and firmly attach the flexible spout to the outlet. Always ensure the spout gasket is clean and free of debris to maintain a tight seal.
For maintenance, it is recommended to keep the exterior of the can dry. If fuel spills onto the outside of the can during use, wipe it down immediately with a clean rag. For long-term storage, keep the unit in a well-ventilated, cool area away from direct sunlight or heavy moisture. Check the condition of the spout and the locking cap seal annually to ensure there are no cracks or signs of wear.
