Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Mount the busbar securely to a flat, non-conductive surface using appropriate screws. Ensure adequate clearance around the terminals for wiring. Connect your main power input (e.g., from the battery positive terminal) to one of the busbar's terminals. Then, connect your various DC loads (e.g., inverter, charge controller, auxiliary circuits) to the remaining terminals using appropriately sized ring or spade connectors and fasteners. Ensure all connections are tight and the protective cover is re-installed once wiring is complete.
Compatibility: This busbar is compatible with DC systems operating within its 150A continuous rating. It is designed to work with standard battery and DC equipment terminals. Ensure your wiring gauge is appropriate for the current and length of run to each connection point.
Care: Periodically inspect all connections for tightness and signs of corrosion. Keep the busbar clean and dry. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the protective cover is always in place when the system is live to prevent accidental contact.
