Each wall plate features a double/twin CAT6a connection with a 50mm x 25mm modular RJ45 CAT6a keystone socket that can be labelled. These are suitable for networking purposes over distances up to 100m/328ft at speeds of 10GBps, utilizing the TIA/EIA-568-B UTP wiring layout. The IDC termination points fit a standard single back box and include fixing screws and accessories. No punch down tool is required for installation. These network outlet faceplates are ideal for cables run between rooms, beneath floors, or behind walls. The faceplate connects to a standard single back box using the provided screws. Wires attach to the IDC terminals at the back of the sockets easily, with no tools needed. The IDC connectors pierce the wire's insulation as they are pushed in, simplifying installation. Color coding on the back of each IDC terminal aids in wiring. For installation, after running a CAT6 cable, strip a short section of the outer insulation and follow the color-coded labels on the push termination cap. Push the correct cores into each terminal and then pop on the cap and push down to crimp the cores. For shielded cables, expose some of the shield and ensure it makes contact with the metal shell when closing. Wiring can be straight through or c.
