Tegaderm Transparent Dressing, 6 x 8 Inch, 10 Count. Pack of 10 dressings. This is a thin, clear sterile dressing that keeps out water, dirt, and germs. It provides a waterproof, sterile barrier to external contaminants including liquids, bacteria, and viruses. In vitro testing shows that the transparent film provides a viral barrier from viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger while the dressing remains intact without leakage. It is designed for patient comfort, with an adhesive that is gentle on the skin and a conformable dressing that flexes with the skin. The frame style delivery makes accurate placement easy. The breathable film lets oxygen in and moisture vapor out. It may be worn up to 7 days and helps to prevent skin breakdown caused by friction.
