Sealey Spray Gun - Suction Feed - General Purpose - 1.5mm

The suction feed system allows the gun to be used in various orientations, drawing paint from the attached pot. It's particularly useful for tasks where the gun needs to be maneuvered.

While it is a general-purpose gun, the 1.5mm nozzle is typically best suited for base coats. For thicker primers, you might need a gun with a larger nozzle or a different set-up. Ensure your primer's viscosity is compatible.

It is crucial to clean the spray gun immediately after every use to maintain performance and prevent clogs. Thorough cleaning ensures longevity and consistent results.

The gun requires an air compressor that can supply sufficient air volume (CFM) and pressure (PSI) for spray gun operation. Specific requirements can vary based on paint type and desired finish, but a compressor rated for automotive spraying is generally suitable.

Yes, Sealey offers alternative set-ups with different nozzle sizes separately. These can be purchased to adapt the gun for different paint viscosities or application requirements.

The spray gun weighs approximately 1.54 pounds.

Check for blockages in the nozzle or air cap. Ensure paint viscosity is correct and that the fan width and air pressure are properly adjusted.

Verify the suction tube is fully submerged in paint and the pot is sealed. Check for air leaks in the system. Ensure the paint flow control is sufficiently open.

This often indicates air in the paint line or insufficient air pressure. Check for air leaks and ensure the air compressor is providing consistent pressure. Clean the nozzle and needle assembly.

Check all connections for tightness, including the air inlet and the paint pot seal. Inspect seals and gaskets for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
