Set of 24 assorted Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils. An ideal alternative to traditional pastels, the 4.3mm oil-free lead is sheathed in a wooden casing, just like a normal pencil, and goes a long way to preventing the dirty fingers and piles of coloured dust that usually result from working with pastels! Colours can be blended and smudged as preferred, and a good sharp point is perfect for fine lines and detailing. Lead contains a high level of acid-free pigment with superb lightfastness. It's very compact and therefore economical to use. Only minimal fixing is required, to ensure artworks retain their vivid colours. The PITT pastel pencils contain a high level of pigment, but are wax and oil free, and are perfectly suited for fine details in pastels. Just like normal pencils, the oil-free lead is housed in a wooden casing. This prevents dirty fingers and excessive coloured dust. Colours can be blended and smudged as desired, and a sharp point is ideal for fine lines and details. Lead contains a high level of acid-free pigment with superb lightfastness.
