Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Select a suitable location for mounting.
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
- Position the buffer and mark the locations of the two pre-drilled holes.
- Drill pilot holes appropriate for your chosen fasteners (bolts, screws).
- Securely bolt or screw the buffer into place. Ensure fasteners are appropriate for the mounting surface and load.
Compatibility:
These buffers are designed for bolted attachment to a variety of rigid surfaces including metal, wood, and composite materials. They are compatible with most commercial and recreational vehicles such as trucks, trailers, horse boxes, and motor homes. They can also be used on fixed structures like loading bays, shutter doors, and internal walls.
Care:
Clean the rubber buffers periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners, as these may degrade the synthetic rubber. Inspect the buffers regularly for signs of wear or damage. Ensure mounting bolts remain tight.
