Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install a new tip, gently pull the old tip straight out of the front of the Surface Slim Pen 2. You may need to use your fingers or a small pair of tweezers to grip the worn tip. Once removed, align the new tip with the opening and push it in firmly until it clicks or sits flush with the pen housing.
These tips are strictly compatible with the Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2. To extend the life of your new tips, keep your Surface screen clean from dust and debris, as trapped particles can act like sandpaper and accelerate tip wear. Avoid pressing down excessively hard while writing, as the screen's digitizer is designed to register light pressure.
