This model is designed to represent a standard Size 6/8 with a 72cm torso, 87cm breast, 70cm waist, and 94cm hip.
Yes, the polystyrene core is specifically designed to be pin-friendly, making it ideal for sewing and draping.
Yes, the height can be adjusted between 55 inches and 73 inches.
The mannequin is lightweight, allowing for easy movement around a studio or retail space.
The base is constructed from high-quality wood, providing a stable and aesthetic foundation.
Ensure the tension screw on the base of the pole is tightened securely and that the form is resting on a level surface.
Ensure you are using standard dressmaker pins rather than thick upholstery pins, which may struggle with the dense polystyrene material.
To assemble, insert the base pole into the center opening of the wooden round base and tighten the securement screw. Slide the torso onto the pole and adjust to your preferred height using the locking mechanism. Compatibility is broad for light-to-medium weight fabrics; avoid forcing thick industrial hardware onto the form. To clean, use a soft, dry brush to remove dust. If the polystyrene surface becomes stained, use a damp cloth with mild soap, but ensure it is completely dry before pinning delicate fabrics to prevent moisture transfer.
