Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using your jars, remove the packaging and wash the glass body thoroughly with warm soapy water. It is essential to keep the wooden lids dry; avoid submerging them in water for extended periods as the wood may expand or crack. If the silicone seal needs adjusting, ensure it is seated cleanly within the groove of the lid for an airtight fit. Always latch the wire clip gently—do not force it if the jar is overfilled, as this could strain the hinge. When cleaning, wipe the wooden lid with a damp cloth and dry immediately. The glass portions are generally safe for hand washing.
