Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility
The awning is compatible with most standard roof racks or luggage carriers. Before purchase, verify that your roof rack crossbars can support the weight of the awning unit and allow for the provided L-bracket mounting hardware.
Setup Instructions
- Secure the mounting brackets to your vehicle's roof rack.
- Bolt the awning housing to the brackets using the provided hardware.
- Unzip the PVC bag and unroll the awning fabric.
- Extend the side arms and vertical telescopic poles.
- Adjust poles to the desired height and tension the fabric.
- Stake down the guy ropes using the luminous pegs.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the fabric with a damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure the awning is completely dry before rolling it up to prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Storage: Always retract the poles fully and store the unit inside the PVC bag when driving at highway speeds or for long-term storage.
- Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and nuts on the mounting brackets to ensure they remain tight.
