The toppers are designed as sensory tools for management; however, always monitor younger children to ensure the material remains intact and is not swallowed.
The set is provided as a complete unit. While toppers can be moved between pencils, they are not sold as individual replacements.
Yes, their dimensions are comparable to standard wooden pencils and they will fit in most pencil cases.
These pencils feature HB2 lead, which is the standard grade for general writing and schoolwork.
Maped prioritizes child safety in their stationery lines; please refer to the specific packaging batch for the most current material safety certifications.
A standard sharpener with an appropriately sized hole will work, but a sharpener specifically designed for triangular pencils will provide the cleanest results.
Ensure your sharpener blades are sharp and avoid over-sharpening, which can weaken the internal core.
Ensure the topper is firmly pressed onto the eraser end; if it continues to slip, check for debris inside the topper cavity and clean it out.
To maximize the lifespan of your Maped Kidy Learn set, ensure you have a standard pencil sharpener compatible with triangular pencils. For care of the chewable toppers, clean them regularly with mild soap and water, especially if they are used frequently. It is recommended to inspect the toppers periodically for any signs of excessive degradation; if the material begins to break down significantly, the topper should be removed to prevent swallowing hazards. Store the pencils in a cool, dry environment to maintain the integrity of the graphite core and the tactile properties of the grip.
