Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
Assembly is designed to be straightforward with minimal tools. Key steps involve attaching the runners and rafters to the posts. For installations requiring specific ground anchoring (bolt down or spiked feet), Rutland County Garden Furniture Ltd provides a flat drill bit. After cutting your posts to the desired length, use this drill bit to create a centered hole in the bottom of each post. This hole will help align the post securely onto the chosen foot type.
Compatibility:
This pergola is designed to be wall-mounted. For ground anchoring, various optional feet (bolt down and spiked) are available for separate purchase. For any optional add-ons such as a 5-degree slope, cladding panels, or longer posts (3m), please contact Rutland County Garden Furniture Ltd directly via telephone at 01293691122 or use their live chat feature.
Care:
To maintain the appearance and longevity of the pressure-treated Redwood, periodic cleaning is recommended. A mild soap and water solution with a soft brush is typically sufficient. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. While the wood is treated, occasional re-application of a wood sealant or stain can further protect it from UV rays and moisture, especially in harsher climates.
