The transition was likely too rapid. Revert to a smaller ratio of the new food and extend the transition period over 10-14 days.
This is normal due to the natural protein density. Simply mix with a small amount of warm water before serving to enhance hydration.
This product is a complete wet dog food suitable for all breeds. When introducing Calibra Life to your dog's diet, it is recommended to transition over the course of 7 to 10 days by gradually mixing it with the previous food to avoid further digestive distress. Once opened, a can should be covered and stored in the refrigerator for no longer than 24 to 48 hours to maintain freshness. Always ensure your dog has access to fresh, clean drinking water. If using as a topper, adjust the portion of your dog's dry kibble accordingly to prevent overfeeding.
