Introducing the FloPlast ABS Solvent Weld 90 Degree Knuckle in Black, 50mm, designed for efficient...Introducing the FloPlast ABS Solvent Weld 90 Degree Knuckle in Black, 50mm, designed for efficient waste system installation. This solvent weld fitting is made from robust ABS material, ensuring durability and reliability. The knuckle design provides flexibility and ease of use, while the black color blends seamlessly with various plumbing systems. Features: Robust ABS material for superior strength and longevity. Solvent weld connection type for secure and leak-free installations. 90 degree bend allows for easy maneuvering around corners. Knuckle design offers increased flexibility and adaptability. Available in both black and white colors to suit diverse applications. Benefits: Enhanced durability due to high-quality ABS construction. Secure connections through solvent welding technology. Versatile application possibilities with multiple color options. Improved flow efficiency and water management with the 90 degree bend design. Reduced maintenance requirements due to resilient materials. Knuckle bends are used to create tight, neat 90 degree bends in a waste pipe system. They have a tighter radius than the standard swept bends. This fitting is available in 32mm, 40mm and 50mm size options. Our solvent weld waste is manufactured in the UK to BS EN 1455 and is kitemarked. To make a solvent weld joint, first ensure that the outer wall of the pipe and the inner wall of the fitting are both clean and free from grit or swarf. Apply SC250 solvent cement to both surfaces. Push the pipe fully into the fitting and give it a twist to ensure that full contact has been made. Clean off any excess solvent with a damp cloth and leave for 5 minutes to set. The installation should be left for 12 hours before testing. Solvent weld joints are permanent - they cannot be demounted once the joint has been made. When using solvent cement, always work in a well ventilated area and keep the cement away from heat sources or naked flames. Avoid any contact with skin - if contact does occur then wash thoroughly with soap and water. Complies with Bs en 1455-1:2000.
