FAQs
Does this pillow come with an air pump?
No, the Mountain Warehouse Soft Touch Inflatable Pillow does not include a pump. It is designed to be inflated manually using your breath.
Is the fabric machine washable?
It is recommended to clean the pillow with a damp cloth and mild detergent rather than machine washing, as the machine agitation may damage the seams or valve.
How small does it pack down?
When deflated, the pillow compresses into a very small, flat profile, making it highly suitable for stuffing into a pocket or a small corner of your backpack.
Is the material waterproof?
The fabric is water-resistant, which helps protect it from moisture during camping trips, though it should not be submerged in water.
Can I use this for lumbar support?
Yes, its adjustable firmness makes it a great choice for providing lumbar support during long periods of sitting or traveling.
Troubleshooting
Pillow loses air overnight
Ensure the valve cap is pushed in completely and securely closed. Check for small punctures or leaks using soapy water.
Difficult to inflate
Verify that the valve is fully opened to allow maximum airflow. If the valve is stiff, gently manipulate it to ensure it is not stuck in a closed position.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your pillow, ensure the valve is fully open, inflate with controlled breaths until firm, and close the valve securely. Compatibility is universal, as it works with all sleeping bag types and camping mats. To care for the pillow, wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; ensure the pillow is completely dry before deflating and storing it for an extended period to prevent mold or mildew. Always store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sharp objects.
