This Nuie D Shape Soft Close Toilet Seat in Gloss White is designed for homeowners seeking a modern and functional bathroom upgrade. Its primary benefit is the soft-close mechanism for quiet operation and the quick-release feature for easy cleaning, all while adding a contemporary aesthetic. A potential caveat is that while it offers both top and bottom fix options, careful installation is recommended to avoid damaging fittings. Key features include its D-shaped design, soft-close hinges, white cover caps, top-fix capability, and quick-release function.

The soft-close feature is automatic. Simply let the lid and seat close gently from a slightly open position; they will descend slowly on their own.
It is recommended to clean the toilet seat regularly, similar to cleaning your toilet bowl, using a damp cloth and mild detergent for best hygiene and to maintain the finish.
The dimensions are approximately H:7.0 x W:36.4 x D:44.6 cm. The product description also notes H51 x W364 x L446mm, which likely refers to the packaging or a different measurement convention.
The Nuie D Shape Soft Close Toilet Seat comes with a 1-Year Guarantee against faulty workmanship or materials.
No, this seat is specifically designed for D-shaped toilet bowls. Using it on a different shape may result in poor fit and instability.
The seat features a Top Fix installation, which is generally straightforward. However, Nuie advises taking extra care during installation to avoid damaging fittings.
Ensure the hinges are correctly installed and aligned. Check for any obstructions preventing the smooth descent of the lid and seat.
Gently clean the release points with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Ensure no debris is caught in the mechanism. Avoid forcing it.
Re-check the tightness of the top-fix bolts. Ensure they are secure but not overtightened, which could damage the toilet or seat fittings.
Ensure you are attaching the caps to the correct part of the hinge after installation. They should snap firmly into place.
