Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the area by marking out the desired edge.
- Unroll the galvanized steel edging.
- Gently shape the edging to follow the marked line, accommodating curves as needed.
- For straight lines or tight curves, use metal snips to cut the edging to the precise length.
- Using a rubber mallet or a block of wood and a hammer, gently tap the edging into the ground along the prepared line.
- Ensure the top rolled edge is consistently positioned.
Compatibility:
This lawn edging is suitable for use with most soil types. It is designed to be used around lawns, flower beds, vegetable patches, and pathways. It is compatible with standard garden tools for installation and modification.
Care:
While galvanized steel offers good corrosion resistance, regular inspection is recommended. Clean off any accumulated soil or debris with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the galvanized coating. In areas prone to harsh weather or prolonged moisture, ensure the base is well-drained to prolong the life of the edging.
